Winnie’s family purchased a home here in the 1950’s. She spent her summers at Lake Rabun as a child and as her children were growing up. She and her husband are now full-time residents. She will admit that it is quite a change from “big city” life, and she understands the challenges people face while embracing a new beginning. She says that she has never regretted the move and bets that you won’t either!
